Internal Bleeding

Internal Bleeding are pioneers of the style of death metal called "slam", based in Long Island, New York. Their sound has paved the way for a whole generation of death metal and death-core bands who put heavy, groove laden riffs in the forefront of their music. Internal Bleeding was formed in 1991 with a short-lived original lineup of guitarist Chris Pervelis, bassist Tom Slobowski, vocalist Brian Richards, drummer Bill Tolley, and guitarist Anthony Miola; Slobowski and Richards were quickly replaced by John Colucco and Eric Wigger, respectively.

Takida

Takida, a five piece rock band from Ånge, Sweden, started out in 1999 and they have worked hard to get where they are today. They have been touring all around Sweden and built quite a reputation as a solid live rockband. Their fanbase is growing as we speak. Their first demo Old was only produced in 500 copies and sold out immediately, Old was recorded in year 2000. It was followed up by the EP T2 (2000), the full length album Takida (2001), the ep Gohei (2003) and the ep Thorns (2004).

Minamo

There are two different artists under the name Minamo: An electro-acoustic rock group and a Free Jazz/Classical Duo. 1. In 1999, the electro-acoustic group Minamo was formed by Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga. In 2000, minamo's self-released CD-R "wakka" was reissued by the New York label Quakebasket. This release was selected by Matmos as one of best sounds in 2001 in The Wire magazine.
In 2001 two new members joined, Yuiichiro Iwashita (guitar) and Namiko Sasamoto (sax, organ), to make the band a quartet. In 2002, first CD album ".kgs" has released by the Tokyo label 360 records.

Pantheon I

Formed in late 2002 and hailing from the city of Oslo in Norway, Pantheon I is an extreme metal band that combines brutality, aggression and speed with heart-wrenching melancholy. Rather than resorting to the use of synths with string samples, the symphonic aspects of their music are highlighted by the use of the cello. The current line-up is composed of KVEBEK on guitar and vocals (DEN SAAKALDTE, ex-1349), SAGSTAD on guitar (TROLLFEST, SARKOM), T.R.S. on bass (1349, DEN SAAKALDTE), MADS G on drums (THE ALL SEEING I, ZEENON), and LIVE JULIANNE on cello.

Joe Lynn Turner (JLT), born Joseph Linquito August 2, 1951 in Hackensack, New Jersey, is a melodic hard rock singer best known for his work with Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen and his brief stint in Deep Purple. He played the accordion as a child, grew up with an appreciation for classic R&B and became an accomplished guitarist in his early teens. Radical Dance Faction (RDF) were founded by Chris Bowsher in Hungerford in 1986, and were originally known as 'Military Surplus'. The band experienced many line up changes with at least seventeen different people having being part of the band at one time or another. Chris is the only person who has been in every line up of the band. RDF's music combines punk, dub, and ska, while Chris' lyrics, spoken rather than sung, deal mainly with political issues, such as the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 in the song Chinese Poem.

There are two bands under the name of Come:
(1) An American indie rock band.
(2) A British experimental band founded by William Bennett, who would later go on to form the very influential band Whitehouse.
(1) Come was also an American indie rock band from 1990-2001. Come was formed in Boston, Massachusetts by Thalia Zedek (vocal, guitar), Chris Brokaw (guitar, vocal), Arthur Johnson (drums), and Sean O'Brien (bass).

Cat's Eyes

Faris Badwan, frontman for UK indie rockers The Horrors, has a new project: Cat's Eyes, a duo with the Canadian opera soprano and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Zeffira. The group specializes in a glassy, symphonic take on girl-group pop, and they played their first show in December in a pretty unusual place: St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, during an afternoon mass "attended by seven high-ranking cardinals," according to a press release.
