Codeca

After the split of the Southport based four piece, MeForYou, in 2005. Three of the members decided that they wanted to carry on making music, but take it in a slightly different direction. Jay Rowe, Phil Ball and Bear, made this decision half way through the recording of MeForYou's final Ep 'I Hope a Car Comes Crashing Through Your Wall'. Helping out with the recording was long time friend Gre Hale, who had also been in a number of Southport bands (e.g. Skirmish, ThirteenEve) and was really into the sound that the others wanted to achieve.

Walking With Strangers

Walking With Strangers can easily be mistaken for an American band based on their sound, but apparently this progressive hardcore / metalcore hybrid originates from a different country, Sweden, more precisely from Trollhättan, a small municipality in the southwestern part of the country. They've been hailed as one of the most promising young bands to be on the rise from that country, and while listening to their debut EP "Buried, Dead, And Done", it's not hard to understand why.

Against the Flood

Jono Weaker (Guitar), James Kentfield (Guitar), Matt Buckland (Bass) and Dan Spry (Drums) started jamming together in late 2007 with a more Hardcore sound developing into the whole "tech" genre. They then officially formed as Against The Flood in early 2009 when Matt Church (Vocals) joined and swiftly recorded their debut self-titled EP at Outhouse Studios (Architects, The Arusha Accord, You Me At Six). The writing/recording process took on a new phase with fresh ideas entering the mix and gigs being organised. ATF went back to Outhouse Studios to record a further two songs in Jan 2010.
