There are three bands by the name of the Floor. One is a band based in Dundee, Scotland. Another is from Edmonton, Alberta foursome The Floor released a series of LP's and EP's culminating with Personnel, an extension of the band's flirtation with noise rock like Ride and the dance rock of Interpol and bands of that ilk. The band are on again off again, although they are opening for Trans Am in a few weeks, indicating the shoegazers are indeed on again. MY PASSION are Laurence René (Vocals, Guitar), Jonathan Gaskin (Drums, Vocals, Electronics), John Be (Guitar) and Simon Rolands (Bass, Synth), four young men with a fearless, rebellious intention, DIY ethics and a genre-smashing electronic induced metallic punk sound. My Passion's story has only just begun yet there is enough to write a gripping tale of adventure and immortality here.... Two years since their creation and My Passion's world has consisted of endless touring and self promotion.

The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an electronic two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest indie bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.

There are various acts named Caves. One is a Danish drone-rock act from Jutland founded in 2005. Caves has released one tape - the dry, heavy shape reaches out - on pcib cassettes.
