The Floor

There are three bands by the name of the Floor. One is a band based in Dundee, Scotland. Another is from Edmonton, Alberta foursome The Floor released a series of LP's and EP's culminating with Personnel, an extension of the band's flirtation with noise rock like Ride and the dance rock of Interpol and bands of that ilk. The band are on again off again, although they are opening for Trans Am in a few weeks, indicating the shoegazers are indeed on again. Floor is a sludge metal band from florida on no idea records and now has members in Torche

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong were an alternative rock band from London, England which formed in 2006. They consist of Joe Lean (vocals), Panda (bass), Tom Dougall (guitar), Dom O'Dare (guitar) and Bummer Jong (drums). Joe Lean formerly drummed for The Pipettes backing group The Cassette and Tom Dougall is the brother of former Pipettes vocalist/keyboardist Rose Elinor Dougall. Lost Valentinos

Lost Valentinos are a psychedelic/indie band from Sydney, Australia. They released two EPs under the band name The Valentinos but changed their name in mid 2007 to Lost Valentinos due to the threat of legal action by soul artist from the 1950s, Bobby Womack & The Valentinos. Lost Valentinos have been described by NME as "A skittering shitstorm of punk fury, disco beats and psychedelic excursions, the sonic invention of M83, Can and My Bloody Valentine melding with the panty-poking fun of Wham!, The Pixies and The Human League."

Julian Plenti

Interpol's lead singer and guitarist Paul Banks released a solo album under the name Julian Plenti, and has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago. He's done a lot of work with Niall Darcy, with whom there has been a long time mutual admiration.

Mode Moderne

Mode Moderne is a band from Vancouver, BC Canada The three core members of Mode Moderne (Felix, Clint and Phillip) spent Winter 2008 in a small recording studio, drinking tea, getting stoned and listening to New Order, Jesus and Mary Chain, and OMD records... That winter the band recorded 9 songs which would become the GHOSTS EMERGING EP. The band released a small run of 100 CDs which sold quickly through word of mouth, then finally officially released the same album on vinyl in the fall of 2009...
