The Veil

There are currently at least four bands called The Veil. Two of these bands hail from the UK, the earliest version being a relatively unknown goth band from the 80s, another a contemporary rock. A third band originates from France, and a forth from Australia. 1. The Veil is a project band from Yorkshire (UK) influenced by bands from the sixties such as Pink Floyd, yet giving a very contemporary slant on things.

The Wake

There have been at least 3 bands called The Wake, including a Scottish post-punk band, an American goth band and a Finnish death metal band. 1. The Wake were a Scottish post punk and later indie pop band, founded in Glasgow in 1981 by Gerard “Caesar” McInulty (formerly of Altered Images), Steven Allen and Joe Donnelly, who was later replaced by Bobby Gillespie. Steven’s sister Carolyn Allen soon joined, and remained in the band until its end.

Bella Morte

Bella Morte (Italian for " ") is a ic band that was formed in 1996 in Charlottesville, Virginia by Andy Deane and Gopal Metro. Their music incorporates elements of , , , , and . By combining s, s, emotive storytelling and unique guitar riffs, Bella Morte have developed a style that is solely their own, which is aided by the talents of Andy Deane, who studied for five years to strengthen his vocal capabilities.

Black Math

With their drum-machine-powered, infectious fuzzed-out goth, Black Math bring to mind the Jesus and Mary Chain (or, if you ask them, Siouxsie and the Banshees), but with more layers to pick apart. Xina’s vocals float like the open sky above dark clouds, and she plays the cello! Jimmy’s synth and sharp drum patterns bring a shadowy dark-wave element, while Andrew’s wall-of-sound guitar harkens back to the aforementioned 1980s shoegazers.

Black Ice

There are more than one artist that use the name "Black Ice": a No Wave / experimental / gothic band, a gangsta hip-hop group formed by Iced-T and Black Silver, a Hungarian rapper, as well as a Rapper/Poet, a soul and funk unit from the US and a jug band from Kentucky, circa 1920. 1) No Wave / experimental / gothic
Black Ice (straight outta Oakland, California) was formed in 1999 by members of the legendary Phantom Limbs, Stevenson Sedgwick and Skot Brown.

Be Forest

Be Forest is a three-piece band from Pesaro, Italy formed in 2010.
Lineup consists of: Costanza Delle Rose (bass, vocals), Erica Terenzi (drums, guitar, vocals), Nicola Lampredi (drums, guitars).
Their sound is a characteristic mixture of with and .
Their debut album Cold. was released in 2011 by label We Were Never Being Boring.

The Essence

Formed in 1984 in, The Essence signed to Midnight Music after a year of gigging. In 1986 the collaboration resulted in the release of their debut album "Purity" preceded by the 12" single "Endless Lakes", which were both received very well, especially in Holland and Germany. A track very popular with the radio- and club-DJ's was "The Cat", which was remixed and released as a second 12". 1987 saw the release of the follow-up album "A Monument of Trust" and the single "A Mirage", a catchy tune that made the top 10 in Spain.

marlo eggplant

Marlo Eggplant was born in Baltimore, MD. She was originally trained in voice, classical guitar, piano, and cello. She began her musical career favoring folk and punk by playing local venues as a teen. When she attended college in the Berkshires, she became more interested in avant garde and bizarre musics. In 2003, she co-founded Spleencoffin records with Timothy Wisniewski. She was the drummer in the short lived improvisational deconstructed noise rock band, Hazardous Guadalupe.

Lupine are an underground mixture of 90's Electro Goth and 80's Vampiric Gothic Rock classics. This CD was recorded and mixed very quickly and the result is a raw but accurate reflection of the band in their element.
