Conor Oberst

Conor Oberst is an American born February 15, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska. He began his recording career in 1993 at the age of 13 and has since produced an enormous amount of material. Conor was deeply influenced early on by singer-songwriters David Dondero and Simon Joyner. His first two albums "Water" and "Here's to Special Treatment" were both released in 1994. Rolling Stone has referred to him as "'s boy genius.

Nataly Dawn

Nataly Dawn started off in L.A., moved to France at the age of ten, spent a few years in Belgium and then scurried on back to California to pursue an education in art and French literature. She makes music as often as possible, to keep herself sane and happy. She dabbles around with piano, guitar and bass (her favorite instrument), but does not consider herself an expert at any of them. Mostly she enjoys singing and inventing odd harmonies.

Ben Gibbard

Ben Gibbard (born August 11, 1976 in Bremerton, Washington) is an American musician and songwriter who has formed several indie bands. He is most notable as the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie; his other projects include The Postal Service and All-Time Quarterback. He has also created music under his name and under the band Pinwheel. Gibbard appeared as a guest on Jimmy Tamborello's (his Postal Service collaborator) Dntel album entitled Life is Full of Possibilities (2001) - Specifically, he contributed vocals to the song "(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan.

The story of Avalanche City begins in a house, alone, for hours and hours each day for months, slowly learning how to sing by process of scales, recording, and self critique.
Six months after taking the first steps towards singing, Dave Baxter played his first solo show as Avalanche City. Six months after the first show, one year after beginning the process of teaching himself how to sing, the first tracks were laid for Avalanche City's debut album Our New Life Above The Ground.

The Swell Season

The Swell Season was formed as a result of a collaboration between Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová, Bertrand Galen and Marja Tuhkanen when they recorded the album "The Swell Season" (released in April 2006). in April/May 2006, the quartet played six shows in Ireland to support the release of "The Swell Season". Later in the year (October & December) they also played a number of shows in the US to support the release of the album there.
