There are 6 bands named Lethargy: 1) Smooth, technical death metal from Rochester, NY. Today Is the Day, Sulaco, and Mastodon all feature alumni of Lethargy at some point. 2) Spanish electronic band with sensual female vocals. It was formed in Madrid in 1992 by Mayte Cruz and Julio Tomé.
"Hailing from Madrid, the duo Lethargy is described as a 21st century version of Massive Attack and Autechre, with a touch of Lassigue Bendthaus.

Darkane

Darkane (formerly known as Agretator) is a Melodic Death / Thrash Metal band formed in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1998. The name Darkane is a portmanteau of the words "dark" and "arcane". The first album featured Lawrence Mackory, who had a much more death metal influenced voice. After 1998's Rusted Angel, Andreas Sydow was recruited, and handled vocals on the next three albums, Insanity, Expanding Senses, and Layers of Lies. He decided to leave the band in 2007 and Jens Broman (Construcdead, The Defaced) took his place for Demonic Art.

There are two bands using this name: (1) A satellite band of Secret Chiefs 3 that focuses on funeral music, and themes of the collapse of human consciousness. Trey Spruance has said all of his Mr. Bungle compositions are FORMS songs put through a 'bungle' filter. He portrays FORMS as his 'compositional center'. They first released songs under this name in the 1990s. (2) Another band formed in early 2010 from ex-members of And Hell Followed With, Deliverus, and R'lyeh, the dudes from Michigan have begun shredding out a unique blend of heavy grooves and aggressive music.

Uneven Structure

Uneven Structure is a band from Metz, France playing a nuanced blend of post-metal and ambient music formed in 2008. Their style is rhythmically inspired by Meshuggah with much more progressive structures. On a concrete way, they are the blend of worC (Aurélien Perreira) and Eggeh (Igor Omodei) projects. They are often categorized in the "djent" genre due to the guitar tone employed. The band has been created after the split of Longchat with Igor Omodei and Benoit Friedrich. Gorguts

A highly technical and avant-garde band, Gorguts was formed in 1989 by Luc Lemay (guitar/vocals), Sylvain Marcoux (guitar), Eric Giguere (bass) and Stephane Provencher (drums) in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. They recorded a demo in 1990 entitled "And Then Comes Lividity", and then in 1991 released "Considered Dead" on Roadrunner, their first full length of death metal. The release was very promising, and even included a guest guitar solo by James Murphy and guest vocals by Chris Barnes.

Cleric

There is more than one artist under the name of Cleric 1.) A four piece from Philadelphia, Cleric's music mixes elements of grindcore, avant garde composition, doom and... something else entirely? Influenced by other metal pioneers such as Meshuggah, Converge, Fantômas, and Neurosis, their music zeroes in on a level of brutality and experimentation that a single band rarely maintains even for a few seconds.
