Thomas Brinkmann

Thomas Brinkmann (born 1959) is a highly regarded German producer of experimental music. Although experimenting with records since the early eighties, he gained wide reputation with his re-workings of material by fellow artists Mike Ink and Richie Hawtin released in the second half of the 90s. These productions were made by playing physically modified vinyl records on highly customized turntables with an additional tone arm.

Bodycode

Alan Abrahams is a busy man. Recording under two full-time aliases, running his own label, playing at mansions on the Welsh/English border, it's all in a day's work for the Lisbon resident. With excellent releases spread across label's like Perlon, Spectral Sound, Yore and more, that hard work seems to be paying off. Schmickler then recorded Wabi Sabi (1996), an avantgarde work of computer-generated drones that updated Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music to the digital age. Onea Gako (Odd Size, 1994) was credited to Marcus Schmickler, and it was co-arranged and produced by C-Schulz.
