Profile: Sensient is Tim Larner from Melbourne, Australia. He has been concentrating on music since he was 12 years old. Having played drums in various funk/fusion bands, he has always had the music in him. However, it wasn't until he discovered psytrance at the age of 19 that he found his musical calling. His early days in the scene were spent in the rain forests of Byron Bay, soaking up the vibe and inspirations of such a place. Baaz from Würzburg first came into contact with
electronical music in 1997, by the age of 15, when by chance his attention
was attracted by "Homework" from Daft Punk.
Apart from the big interest in Hip Hop, it was heading more and more for
electronical music with a 4/4 beat from then on.
It continued with the first bought records, Germany/Hessen's club landscape, and
music by Perlon, Basic Channel and the early Playhouse sound towards housemusic.
Being a hobby break-dancer back in the days was the first step for eleven year-old Martin Landsky to discover his passion for black dance music. Using the pause-key of his tape deck he started to create minimal loop tracks of early funk and rap classics for his performances on the street as well as in contests.
