Manes

Manes started around the end of 1992/early 93. It started as a project with Sargatanas on vocals and Cern on guitars, synths, programming etc. – basically everything besides the vocals. With that line-up Manes recorded the three demos „Maanens natt” (93), „Ned i stillheten” (94) and „Til kongens grav de døde vandrer” (95). The two first demos was later re-released by the Hammerheart Records sub-label „Unveiling the Wicked” in 98.

Grinny Grandad

If you're going to listen to these songs, then grab a beer, get comfy, sit back and have your sense of humour switched to "Moderate". Imagine Mr Scruff drinking cups of tea with The Chemical Brothers whilst babysitting DJ Yoda and you might start to come close to the sounds infused by Grinny Grandad. Based on the 'scissors and string' mind of Chris Morton, these guys fuse surreal references with old school record-crate creativity and come out of it with an infectious brand of subterranean pop that makes you feel good deep down inside.

Artist Type:

GramophoneDzie

For almost 15 years Marko Milicevic (aka Marko Hollywood) has been working as a Dj. His passion for funky music, live instruments and intensive vocals has resulted in a couple of songs released under the name “Gramophonedzie”. His biggest success is a track called “Why Don’t You” where he has sampled an old swing track (the Peggy Lee 1942 lounge banger "Why Don't You Do Right? (Get Me Some Money Too)", that brought Gramophonedzie to the lights of the world global house scene and got him signed with Virgin/Positiva records.

Artist Type:

Dusted

1) Dusted is the dewy-eyed solo pop project of Holy Fuck's Brian Borchedt. Borchedt is based in Toronto, Canada. 2) Dusted is the joint venture of two producers, Rollo Armstrong (Rollo Armstrong, who has produced New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Faithless) and Mark Bates (Guy Ornadel).

Artist Type:

Dr. Octagon

Dr. Octagon is one of Kool Keith's many alter egos. His initial release as Dr. Octagon was 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, on which he collaborated with Dan the Automator Nakamura and DJ QBert. After the name was dropped in favour of Dr. Dooom, it was widely believed that it wouldn't be used again until the release of 2006's The Return of Dr. Octagon, which Keith maintains was changed and released without his consent.
