A key member of the infamous "Bromley contingent" which helped to redefine fashion and culture in Seventies England, Steven Severin formed Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1976 together with Siouxsie Sioux. Steven was featured on all 16 albums and 30 singles as co-lyricist and songwriter during their two decades long career. Soriah
From out of the fir-lined mists of the Pacific Northwest's primordial musical soup is spawned the singular performance and sound sculptor Soriah. Spilling initially from a rock and roll womb, but building on years of intensive studies in Tuvan throat singing and classical Indian raga chanting, Soriah both subverts and elevates tradition by weaving the avant-garde into the ancient. The musician and ritual artist known as Soriah (aka Enrique Ugalde of Portland, OR) first came into being more than 10 years ago.
Zweizz
Zweizz is the new incarnation of music being created by Svein Egil Hatlevik (Fleurety, ex- Dødheimsgard). The music is highly confusing mixture of glitchcore and experimental textures, dubbed necrotech.
A collaboration with Austrian black metal band Abigor is in the works.
A collaboration with joey hopkins midget factory is in the works too.
Sunn O))) & Boris
"Altar" is a true collaboration album between Sunn O))) and Boris that is a result of both bands conceptualizing, writing and recording the album together as one entity. Both groups have stepped outside their previous sounds and created a wholly unique album that stands on its own unique ground. There are elements of each group's trademark sound within the album but true to each group's progressive and experimental aspects, “Altar” moves into a completely new dimension. Also contributing additional entrancing textures are the guest collaborators on this album including:
Sleepers
There are at least 6 bands / projects named Sleepers: 1. Sleepers is the recording and performance project of Silas Ciarán and Amanda Boutourline. It began as a solo outlet for Ciarán in early 2004, and was at this time geared towards Black and Doom Metal with flecks of ambient. It is now a full fledged crossover project, incorporating many different sources into one heap of sound. 2. Sleepers was a progressive new wave rock band from Gold Coast, Australia. They have changed their name to Awaken I Am.
