In a genre and movement all too predictable with the same fifty records playing forever on a continuous loop, Eric Cloutier is quietly making himself stand out amongst Detroit’s next generation of producers and DJ’s. A DJ since 1996, he began on the same circuit of Detroit parties and clubs most have traveled, eventually establishing residencies at Ann Arbor’s Necto and Detroit’s prominent after-hour party spot, The Works.

New alias for Mancunian dubstep/grime producer MarkOne. Member of the Virus Syndicate, Manchester's MarkOne has been causing a stir on the Grime (Dubstep/Sublow/Forward) scene since his first release on his label Contagious. He was nominated for BEST GRIME PRODUCER at the 2003 Sidewinder awards.

This New Jersey native was initially inspired by England's take on the sound of Detroit, but eventually tracked techno back to its Motor City innovators. When he began listening to music, however, it was the sound of early-'80s synth heroes like Devo, Severed Heads and New Order alongside early hiphop, jazz and 60's Hindi film soundtracks. Geist released his first 12" (via Dan Curtin's innovative Metamorphic label) while studying at Oberlin College in 1994.

Quarion is a special project from hip-hop, nu jazz and techno producer Ianeq. Going back to the roots of hypnotic dance music, Quarion is all about the deeper aspects of house and techno.
