Richard H. Kirk is a British musician specializing in electronic music. He first came to prominence in the 1970s as a member of the seminal industrial band Cabaret Voltaire. His first release as a solo artist, Disposable Half Truths, came in 1980 and he maintained a career as a solo artist alongside Cabaret Voltaire until the band's dissolution in 1994. It was during the 1990s that his solo output increased considerably.
Northcape is the ongoing work of a British artist, and can broadly be described as downtempo melodic electronica. Northcape self-released his first CD in 2005, following this with a second independent release ('Detach') in 2007 and an EP ('Some Bright Valley') on the monotonik netlabel. Northcape's latest album is Captured From Static, released by Sun Sea Sky Productions on April 6th 2010. The aim is to express ideas and evoke environments, landscapes and memory rather than to focus on the technology and techniques used.
Supersilent is a Norwegian improvisational avant-garde / electroacoustic group from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1997 and signed on Rune Grammofon. Martin Lee Gore (born July 23, 1961 in Dagenham, Essex, England) a member of the band Depeche Mode since its inception in 1980. He is currently the primary songwriter, and also plays keyboard and guitar. He is also the backup singer, and sometimes the lead singer. In 2003, Martin released Counterfeit2, a solo cover album follow-up to his 1989 Counterfeit EP. Both feature his takes on other people's material, and he has stated publicly before that he considers himself not the most prolific songwriter, and prefers to keep his own material for Depeche Mode albums.
Chris Bowden is a British alto saxophonist, composer and arranger, working across a variety of genres from acoustic jazz to hip hop and drum and bass. As well as his solo releases he has contributed to music by 4hero, The Herbaliser and The Heritage Orchestra among others. He is currently active with The Tomorrow Band and Scorched Earth. Originally from Birmingham, UK, he began his professional career with The K-Creative in the early 90s acid jazz boom, and also worked with Palm Skin Productions, Jessica Lauren and Jhelisa Anderson.
