Tord Gustavsen, a jazz pianist for a few years has been a renowned personality of the Norwegian music. He has been a pilar of many projects involving some best Norwegian musicians, such as: Silje Nergaard, Siri Gjare, Kristin Asbjornsen, or Live Maria Roggen. He shows an ability to combine history of jazz with Nordic ambience and lyrical beauty, which has an intriguing influence on contemporary jazz scene.
There's few bands and projects called "Krokodil": 1) Swiss Krautrock group from the 70s; 2) Swedish jazz duo; 3) Resnik experimental metal project; The first group consists of three musicians, two of them from Zurich, Switzerland and an Englishman - Krokodil were an early 70's Swiss-Krautrock group who mixed blues based jam music with psychedelic Indian sitar and tablas. Supersilent is a Norwegian improvisational avant-garde / electroacoustic group from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1997 and signed on Rune Grammofon.
