Along with other powerviolence bands such as Crossed Out and Man Is The Bastard, No Comment were influential in what was known to become the "West Coast powerviolence" scene for their aggressive musical and conceptual take on the hardcore punk genre.

Emancipator

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere. Emancipator (Douglas Appling) played his first live show in July 2009, opening for Bonobo at the Roseland Theater (cap. 1500). Since then, he’s toured with Bassnectar, drawn crowds at festivals like Trinumeral and Symbiosis, and closed out Sound Tribe Sector 9’s late night parties in Denver at the request of the band.

This name was changed to Evadne, which was an expression of sorrow, death and suicide how the end of this demigoddess of Greek mythology. This name expressed all we wanted at that moment. Under this new name the band released their first demo (In The Bitterness Of Our Souls), which was produced by Evadne and recorded, mixed and mastered by Alfonso A.

Mozez is perhaps best known as the singer for the British down tempo group Zero 7.
His first major break came in 1996 as part of the duo Spirits, which brought hits that included ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’ and ‘Spirit Inside’.
He was recruited by Zero 7 and worked on their first two albums, ‘Simple Things’ and ‘When It Falls’. His debut solo album ‘So Still’ came out in October 2005, a soulful album that became an international success working with Madonna producer Guy Sigsworth, and collaborations with Nightmares On Wax and Henry Binns of Zero 7.

There at least 3 bands with the name Doppleganger 1) DoppelgangeR is is one of the most famous and oldest gothic bands in Russia. The band revives the traditions of Old School of Gothic Rock and Post Punk, set by such bands as Joy Division and Siouxsie and The Banshees. Expressive vocal, atmospheric guitar, bass which cuts through like a sharp glass, and wild drums drive the audience from rage to tears and back.

Spilling initially from a rock and roll womb, but building on years of intensive studies in Tuvan throat singing and classical Indian raga chanting, Soriah both subverts and elevates tradition by weaving the avant-garde into the ancient. The musician and ritual artist known as Soriah (aka Enrique Ugalde of Portland, OR) first came into being more than 10 years ago.
