Tom Carter is best known for his work with Charalambides, which he co-founded with longtime creative partner (and one time wife) Christina Carter in 1991. Carter has also undertaken solo work and numerous collaborations with Bardo Pond, Vanessa Arn, Robert Horton, Ian Nagoski, Tower Recordings, Double Leopards, Yellow Swans, Starving Weirdos, and Jandek, among others.

Thisquietarmy is the experimental guitar-based project of Eric Quach from Montreal, Quebec, Canada - active since 2005. Revolving around improvised drone music, he takes his sonic experimentations further by adding textural and structural elements of post-punk, shoegaze, krautrock, post-rock, black metal and doom metal to them. The results can be described as dark, melodic, expansive and engaging dreamscapes. His live performances are mostly presented as a real-time score to hypnotic ethereal visuals, which he creates himself for each performance.
At least two artists share this name: 1) Emerge is a Post-Mathcore band from Tasmania, Australia. They have realesed two over-hyped demos, 'Untitled' and 'Controller'. They are currenly working on the release of their first E.P. titled A Pending Disaster, set for release mid-October. Steve Adey's music is commonly described as "slowcore", a sub-genre characterised by slow tempos and minimalist arrangements. His music covers many styles and genres from baroque pop through folk and most recently (on his These Resurrections EP) classical and avant-garde.

Deupree is an accomplished sound artist whose recordings, rich with abstract atmospherics, have appeared on numerous record labels, and well as in site-specific installations at such institutions as the ICC (Tokyo, Japan) and the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (Yamaguchi, Japan).
Luca Turilli's Rhapsody is the name of the new band of the Italian composer Luca Turilli due to the friendly split between Luca Turilli and Alex Starpoli (main composers of the bands Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire). The addition of Luca's name before Rhapsody is due to the same legal reasons of the past not allowing him to use the word Rhapsody alone. Stuart Leslie Braithwaite (born 10 May 1976) is the lead member of the Scottish post-rock band Mogwai. He mainly plays electric guitar, and sometimes sings. He grew up listening to records by The Cure, Joy Division, The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, and many other artists. Disintegration by The Cure was the first album he bought. While learning guitar, the first song he learned to play was "Heroin" by The Velvet Underground. He went to Stow College in Glasgow at one point, playing the guitar solo from "Another Girl, Another Planet" by The Only Ones to get in.
