Ben Foster is a British composer, orchestrator and conductor. He is best known for his work as an orchestrator on the BBC series Doctor Who. Foster also composes music for the BBC drama Torchwood. His work on the show earned him a nomination in the Best Music category at the 2006 and 2007 BAFTA Cymru Awards. Silva Screen Records released a soundtrack album comprised of his work on the first and second series in August/September 2008.
iamthemorning is a neo-classical vocal indie band from Russia. Full band consists of piano, vocals, guitar, bass-guitar, drums and string quartet and sounds like prog-rock with arrangements, influenced by Russian Classical Music heritage and various ethnic motifs. The sound may vary, as the band can play both acoustic sets (grand piano, vocals, string quartet) - and then it turns to fragile neo-classical (thought, rather gloomy) collective, and prog-rockish sets when fragility of neo-classical concept is being empowered by sophisticated rhythm section and jazzy guitar.
1) Caprice is a neo-classical ensemble from Russia distinguished by Inna Brejestovskaya’s heavenly voice and acoustic sound (harp, flute, clarinet, violin, cello) with a touch of electronics. The band's debut album was released in 1996. Probably the best known band’s project is the Elven trilogy – an attempt to show what the music of the parallel world of Faerie sounds like. The first two CDs are music illustrations to JRR Tolkien's novels, while the third part of the trilogy is sung in the unique language of Laoris.
Luca Turilli's Rhapsody is the name of the new band of the Italian composer Luca Turilli due to the friendly split between Luca Turilli and Alex Starpoli (main composers of the bands Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire). The addition of Luca's name before Rhapsody is due to the same legal reasons of the past not allowing him to use the word Rhapsody alone. Zbigniew Preisner (b. 1955) is one of Poland's leading film score composers, best known for his work with film director Krzysztof Kieślowski. Preisner was born on 20th May 1955 in Bielsko-Biała. He studied history and philosophy in Kraków; never having received formal music lessons, he taught himself about music by listening and transcribing parts from records. His compositional style represents a distinctively spare form of tonal neo-Romanticism.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Indie band Sophia includes The Flower Shop Recordings mainman and former The God Machine singer/guitarist Robin Proper-Sheppard. After the sudden and tragic death of schoolfriend and God Machine bassist Jimmy Fernandez, Proper-Sheppard began searching for a new musical outlet. Together with friends and fellow musicians from other Flower Shop bands Elevate, Ligament and Oil Seed Rape, Proper-Sheppard began working on the music that would become known as Sophia.
