Freddie Gibbs

Freddie Tipton (born January 28, 1982 in Gary, Indiana), better known as Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper best known for being one of XXL Magazine's ten Freshmen of 2010. He was previously signed to Interscope Records before being let go from his deal without an official record being released. He has released five mixtapes since his first in 2005 including Live From Gary, Indiana, Big Bizness, The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs, midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik and Str8 Killa No Filla. The Str8 Killa EP was released 3rd August.

Ghost Mice is a two-piece folk-punk band that hails from Bloomington, IN. Ghost Mice was created from the ashes of former pop-punk bands The Devil Is Electric and Operation: Cliff Clavin. Chris Johnston (aka Chris Clavin) and Hannah who played guitar and bass respectively for OP:CC and TDIE, decided to make their act acoustic so they could tour more easily and play almost anywhere. In their own words: "We play 100% acoustic. We never use amps or mics (except once at Plan-It-X Fest). We have been playing in bands together for about 7 years.

At least two artists share this name: 1) Emerge is a Post-Mathcore band from Tasmania, Australia. They have realesed two over-hyped demos, 'Untitled' and 'Controller'. They are currenly working on the release of their first E.P. titled A Pending Disaster, set for release mid-October. Tracks include 'Untitled', 'Contoller', 'Elendil Hobson-Naumann (The Edge Song)' and 'Matt Garwood (Where's Our Vocal Demo?)'. There has been alot of hype surronding the band. Which has in some cases led drummer Tim Bezemer to grow a larger than normal head.

There are at least three bands called Indian: 1) A Chicago-based band. Born in different parts of country, brewed in the depths of Chicago, Indian have grown to be chiefs of doom in the Midwest and around the U.S. since their first show in early 2003. Their slow- guitars, demon-esque vocals and mad smart rhythms make the three piece pure sophisticated evil. Indian's first recording, Godslave, released in 2004, quickly became an underground favorite for doomers across the country.
