Sophia

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Indie band Sophia includes The Flower Shop Recordings mainman and former The God Machine singer/guitarist Robin Proper-Sheppard. After the sudden and tragic death of schoolfriend and God Machine bassist Jimmy Fernandez, Proper-Sheppard began searching for a new musical outlet. Together with friends and fellow musicians from other Flower Shop bands Elevate, Ligament and Oil Seed Rape, Proper-Sheppard began working on the music that would become known as Sophia.

Ilona is FOUR different singers/bands: -- 1: Ilona Mitrecey (more commonly known as Ilona) (born September 1, 1993) is a young French singer. She became famous in France after the release of her hit single, "Un monde parfait" ("A Perfect World"), a high-energy techno song which had already been released in Italy in March 2004 under the name Très Bien featuring Ilona, on February 28, 2005, based on a traditional Neapolitan song.

Trespassers William

During more than eight years of developing a sound and community, Trespassers William switched several members before forming its current and longest lasting group: Matt Brown, Ross Simonini and Anna-Lynne Williams. The band became a presence on the music scene with their second album, Different Stars, which was originally released only in Europe but later, re-released worldwide on Nettwerk Records (2004).

Black Iris, is a label and bicoastal music collective of musicians, some based in Virginia working within the advertising and entertainment industry. Projects they've been involved with range from commercial soundtracks for soft drinks, gas guzzling carmakers and electronics manufacturing giants.to the theme music for Al Gore's Alliance For Climate Protection organization (www.wecansolveit.org). The summer of 2008 saw the rise in demand for the Black Iris track Firehydrant Floods, which was used in a Cadillac commercial, and warranted a feature article in the L.A Times newspaper.

Kirlian Camera

Kirlian Camera was founded by the keyboardist/vocalist Angelo Bergamini in Parma, Italy in Spring 1980. The band really was born in 1979, called Suicide Commando, but this name was dropped for the existence of a namesake band. So, when Bergamini started to interest to paranormal phenomena, he knew about a special device invented by Semion Kirlian to take photos of the aura of the human body and from this took the name of the group, suggested by Mauro Montacchini.

Floex

Tomáš Dvořák (*78) aka Floex - clarinetist, composer, producer and multimedia artist from Prague (Czech Republic). While Tomáš solo works are released under his Floex moniker, the soundtracks are released under his own name Tomáš Dvořák. From childhood he has been learning clarinet which later becomes the key instrument for his music - not only as "instrumental signature" but also as way of his compositional approach.

Stars of the Lid are a band specializing in -based music. In Gowan Ring is the musical endeavour of American composer and multi-instrumentalist B'eirth. Started in the early 1990s, In Gowan Ring plays acoustic songs with strong roots in folk, medieval, and psychedelic music. B'eirth's soft voice is accompanied by (among other instruments) guitar, harp, piano, cello, bodhrán and many of his own instrument creations (citterns, guitars, hybrids, etc.). In Gowan Ring has cooperated with many artists from the international folk and experimental scenes, such as: Stone Breath, Maja Elliott, Nick Castro, Fern Knight, Annelies Monseré, and Alio Die.
