Hailing from the familiarly disconsolate surroundings of an East Lancashire mining town UK, Roy Bright (vocals/guitars), Adam Stephenson (guitars), Phil Ireland (bass guitar/vocals) & Peat “Crazy Texas” Hicks (drums/vocals) finalised a line-up during late July 07 that allowed each band member to collectively write and perform music that gives them the same great feeling they get when listening to music created by their favourite artists.
Leaves' Eyes is a symphonic gothic metal band with folk elements from Norway and Germany assembled in 2003, shortly before singer Liv Kristine was fired from Theatre of Tragedy. Their debut album, Lovelorn, was released in 2004. The second album, Vinland Saga, was released 30th of May 2005, and retells the tale of the discovery of Vinland (i.e. North America) by Leif Erikson.
