The Witch And The Robot

A wise women once told me that if she could live her life again she would spend it making charcoal drawings of the countless yew trees that have been growing for an eternity in Little Langdale. A small valley hidden away on the road to nowhere in the Lake District. This thought flashed through my mind as I lay face down in the mud of a nameless field in Northern France. The Bear That Wasn't

A bear settles down for his long winter nap, and while he sleeps, the progress of man continues. He wakes up to find himself in the middle of an industrial complex. He then gets confused by the foreman as a worker and is told to work. To this, he responds,"But I'm not a man, I'm a Bear". The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse

"I would describe my music as a collection of melodies, broken thoughts and noise. I guess I'm drifting towards the alternative folk end of the musical spectrum, but there's no real direction behind that. I'm influenced by everything and anything, I think most songwriters are. Whether it's a string of words that comes into your head while you're building a cardboard universe or a melody that suddenly rings out from a guitar as you pluck it's strings, you don't have to search for it, life presents inspiration."

Misterlee

Misterlee is an almost uncategorizable 2 piece act from Leicestershire, England, that blends alternative rock and lo-fi pop - amongst other perculiarities, to create a truly unique sound. 'FolkItUp' - Chicago's Alt-folk-zine wrote: "There is no true label or definition that one could apply to Misterlee, it stands up not only as its own sound, but provokes emotion in a way that most music can't these days"
