Ravenheart

The Powermetal Band Ravenheart was established by Roger (vocals and drums) in 1997.
Suitable band members were found quickly with Greg (guitar), Marco (guitar), Luca (bass) and Bea (key). After several concerts and the fist demo CD ‘Timeless Knights’ Ravenheart worked on producing
a full-length album. During the time of recording Luca was tragically taken away from us in 2006 and the whole production was put on hold.

Flying Pickets

The Flying Pickets is a British a cappella vocal group, that had a surprise number one hit in 1983 in the UK singles chart, with their cover of Yazoo's track Only You. The name 'Flying Pickets' refers to mobile strikers who travel in order to join a picket. The group of six was founded by Brian Hibbard in 1982 by a group of actors , the "7:84 Theatre group", a fringe theatre group who had sung a capella in their production of One Big Blow, based on the 1984 UK miners' strike.

Badlands

There are several bands having gone by the name "Badlands", the most famous being the late '80s hard rock band formed by former Black Sabbath vocalist Ray Gillen. Badlands was a short-lived rock band founded by Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee and Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. Badlands also featured bassist Greg Chaisson. After the first Badlands album, Eric Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin. Eric Singer later played drums on the Greg Chaisson solo album It’s About Time.

Rhapsody

There is more than one band by the name Rhapsody: 1) Rhapsody (now known as Rhapsody of Fire) is a band from Italy, but have been "on hold" since 2008. A new album has been announced, "The Frozen Tears of Angels", billed for release in March. They incorporate music, and styles. The classical influences include such composers as Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Niccolò Paganini, and Antonin Dvořák. Their songs are also heavily influenced by power metal in general and their lyrics are fantasy-themed.

Apotheosis

There are five bands using this name: 1) A / one man band from Malta. Sauron composes all of the music for Apotheosis. Although the band was formed in autumn of 1993, it wasn't until 2002 that Sauron released a full length, the four track epic Farthest From The Sun. 2) A two piece band from Toledo, Ohio. Their first album, 'Husk', was self-released in 2011 and they are currently (9/12) completing their second release, 'Bane'.

Edenbridge

Edenbridge is a band from Austria which was founded as a studio-project by guitarist/keyboardist Lanvall, bassist Kurt Bednarsky, and vocalist Sabine Edelsbacher in 1998. With the addition of drummer Roland Navratil the line-up was completed for the production of their debut album Sunrise in Eden. Current members are Sabine Edelsbacher (vocals), Lanvall (guitars, keyboards), Frank Bindig (bass), Dominik Sebastian (guitars), and Max Pointner (drums).

Ann Sexton

Ann Sexton was born 5th February 1950 in Greenville, South Carolina, U.S.A. Songwriter David Lee spotted Ann in 1971, although not a well known artist, Ann recorded a series of great soul records for the legendary Nashville soul DJ and label-owner John R (John Richbourg). Her best known songs, "You've Been Gone Too Long" and "You're Losing Me", were, and still are, great favourites on the Northern Soul scene.

There are twelve different artists under this name: 1. Catharsis was an band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, releasing their albums through the CrimethInc. collective. Their singer, Brian, was editor of the political fanzine Inside Front and later went on with other ex-members of Catharsis to form the band Requiem. 2. Catharsis was a French band who released albums during the 1970's. Their first album, "Masq" (1971), was a mixture of formless chanting, hypnotic melodies, prominent percussion, Arabic styles, and experimental songcraft.
