Hiatus

Hiatus refers to at least 2 artists: 1. Hiatus formed in May 1989.They played in a Doom/Discharge/E.N.T. style.Political D.I.Y band from belgium, that would become well known in the underground Hardcore/Punk scene of that time. Technically good for the kind of music they made, they were one of the ensigns of crust-core in early 90's. Hiatus would later redefine their sound completely on their final release, and finest work, "The Brain" as they grew sick of the songs they had constantly toured.

Leng Tch'e

Leng Tch'e aka death by a thousand cuts, is an ancient Chinese torture ritual where the victim is being doped up and cut into bits. The victim doesn't feel any of this procedure until it is far too late and death is unavoidable. Leng Tch'e the band formed in early 2001, basing their own hybrid of grindcore on bands such as Regurgitate, Hemdale, Nasum and Blood Duster and mixing it all up with some stoner / rock / hardcore influences, the band baptized their own unique style, now known as 'razorgrind'.

Blockheads

Blockheads were formed in 1992 and released their first demo, Haaashaastaak, in 1993. In 1995, they released their first studio album, Last Tribes, and a further album, Watch Out, followed in 1998, after the band had experienced some line-up difficulties. In 2000, Blockheads signed with Bones Brigade, a label which specialises in extreme music. Their first two albums were re-released together on Bones Brigade, under the title From Womb to Genocide.
