EnkElination

enkElination (enkeli - meaning Angel in finnish) was formed in November 2011. Founded by classically trained former opera singer Elina Siirala. She moved to London from Finland in 2008 and fell in love with the power and performance of rock and metal. Now she is using her classical roots to help create her own mark in the world of alternative music. She’s a talented and powerful singer/composer creating Melodic Hard Rock from a multitude of influences. Surrounded by heavy guitar sounds and metal drums, Elina's voice cuts through the darkness with an ethereal angelic quality.

Angellis

Angellis were recently resurrected after a three year hiatus of soul searching. “We were just too young and niave,” says frontman Jonne. “It’s probably good that we’ve spent time away from each other, otherwise we’d probably have destroyed ourselves. Lordi

Lordi is a hard rock / heavy metal band from Finland, formed in 1996 by 'Mr. Lordi' of Rovaniemi, Finland. They're known for their monster costumes and lyrical themes. In the beginning of the 1990s, Mr. Lordi played in a small band from Rovaniemi. He left the band when the other members didn't agree with the introduction of theatrical elements and KISS-style rock. Mr. Lordi started producing demos under the name Lordi in 1991 and continued to do so for a few years. The rest of the band members met each other for first time in 1996 in Stockholm, where they had gone to see KISS perform.

There are multiple artists with this name 1) HIM, a love metal band from Finland.
2) HiM, a solo project put together in 1995 by Doug Scharin (drummer for June of 44, Rex, and Codeine).
3) HIM, acronym for "Hiromasa Ijichi Melodies," a Japanese group. 1) Formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo, guitarist Mikko Lindström (Linde), and bassist Mikko Paananen(Mige). Today the band consists of the previously named as well as a drummer Mika Karppinen(Gas) and a keyboardist Janne Puurtinen(Burton).

Bodyjar

Bodyjar was an Australian punk rock band based in Melbourne, that formed in 1994, when they changed their name from 'Helium'. Their song "Not The Same" was also featured in the video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Bodyjar have released 7 albums, 6 of which were recorded in studio and their latest which is a live recording entitled 'Is It Alive'. The band contained two of its original members, Cameron Baines (lead vocals/guitar) and Grant Relf (Bass) when they split.

Sentenced

Sentenced was a Finnish metal band, formed in 1989 and disbanded in 2005. Sentenced was originally formed in 1989 in the town of Muhos, Finland as a death metal band. The band produced their first album "Shadows Of The Past" in 1991 with singer/guitarist Miika Tenkula. The next two albums "North From Here" and "Amok" and the following EP "Love & Death" had bassist Taneli Jarva as singer, but in 1995 Taneli decided to take a few years off to rest before starting a new band, The Black League. Sentenced recruited Ville Laihiala in 1996 and put out the album "Down".
