Reaction was a heavy metal band from Tokyo, Japan, which was formed back in 1983. It was counted among the important band from Kanto (East Japan, Tokyo-Yokohama area) metal movement, alongside heavy metal stalwarts Anthem and Sabbrabells. Kanto movement was seen as a rival movement to the Kansai (West Japan, Osaka-Kyoto-Kobe area) metal movement. They released 5 full length albums and 6 singles.

SCREW is a band from Japan.
They originally started out in March 2006 under Speeddisk label and are now signed under the 'Indie PSC' label (PS COMPANY Co.,Ltd). SCREW expresses the concept that "everybody has darkness inside -- the poisonous chemicals of darkness have to be screwed out of the body." They were originally a four-piece band, but became a twin guitar band when Manabu joined in June 2007. At the start of 2010, their new bassist Rui (ex Jewel joined the band, after their previous bassist Yuuto left the band in the beginning of the year.

Further info: 2) Heartless is a hard rock/hair metal band formed in Tampa in the late 80s and performed together for several years. Through the later 90s, the band transformed and became 'Kenne McGey and Lefty' and are still active in local Tampa scene.

ONE OK ROCK

ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese Rock band formed in the summer of 2005. It was started by Toru with High School friends Alex and Ryota after each of them got their musical instruments. After that, Taka joined as their vocalist and they focused on performing shows in the Tokyo area. In 2006 they independently released 2 mini albums. Because of their albums sales, their participation in relatively large festivals that summer and their energetic shows in the outskirts of Tokyo, they were noticed by a foreign record company.

Released 2 full albums: Violent (2000) & Davi (2001). 2) Volcano is a punk/folk/reggae supergroup band, formed by Meat Puppets frontman Curt Kirkwood, Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, and session musicians Mike Stand and Jon Poutney. They have released only one album (with a cheap, hand-drawn inkpen front cover drawn by Curt), which quickly sold out at Skunk records, followed by only eight concerts in support of the release.

Maximum the Hormone

A mixture of pop punk, funk, metal and hardcore, マキシマム ザ ホルモン (Maximum the Hormone) formed in Hachioji, Tokyo in 1997 with the line up: Daisuke-han (vocals), SUGI (guitar), KEY (bass) and Nao Kawakita (drums). After releasing their first album, "A.S.A. Crew", through indies label SkyRecord, SUGI and KEY left the band and the present line up of Daisuke-han, Maximum the Ryo-kun, Nao,and Ue-chan (Bass) came to be. After this, the band changed the spelling of their name from the English "Maximum the Hormone" to katakana: マキシマム ザ ホルモン.
