There are twelve different artists under this name: 1. Catharsis was an anarchist hardcore punk band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, releasing their albums through the CrimethInc. collective. Their singer, Brian, was editor of the political hardcore punk fanzine Inside Front and later went on with other ex-members of Catharsis to form the band Requiem. 2. Catharsis was a French art band who released albums during the 1970's. Their first album, "Masq" (1971), was a mixture of formless chanting, hypnotic melodies, prominent percussion, Arabic styles, and experimental songcraft.
The Casual Terrorist started in 2007, basically him recording some tunes on a laptop he bought from a local kwik save. Played a few gigs in England, Scotland and Spain with people like Oi Polloi and at festivals like Rebellion. He's an anarchist. He believes in militant anti-fascism. And poetry. He fucking hates macho acting punk types and homophobes.
Condition: Dead was formed in December 2007 by Alex, ( Al Symers ) formerly vocalist for Kents S.O.R.B. and London's Refuse/All. After quitting Refuse/All in March 2007, for several reasons, many other band members coaxed him into carrying on in the movement. Ghost Mice is a two-piece folk-punk band that hails from Bloomington, IN. Ghost Mice was created from the ashes of former pop-punk bands The Devil Is Electric and Operation: Cliff Clavin. Chris Johnston (aka Chris Clavin) and Hannah who played guitar and bass respectively for OP:CC and TDIE, decided to make their act acoustic so they could tour more easily and play almost anywhere.
