Kate Havnevik

Kate Havnevik is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Oslo. Her debut album, the electronica-infused "Melankton," was released in March 2006 on iTunes and April 2006 (on physical CD) in Norway, before being licensed internationally later in the year. Havnevik has been working on three albums simultaneously - "Melankton," "You" and an acoustic album entitled "Embla." In a move similar to that of British singer and friend of Havnevik, Imogen Heap, Kate is releasing her albums through her own record label, Continentica Records.

Josefin Winther

Josefin Winther was born in 1986 in Bergen, Norway. She grew up in a big family with five siblings, and a guitar-playing father. From a young age she became acquainted with music and performance, singing classical arias and training her voice; during the same years she played cello in a youth orchestra. At thirteen she began to play guitar and to write her own songs. Burzum

Burzum is the solo project of Varg Vikernes (born Kristian Larsson Vikernes, AKA Greven Grishnackh/Count Grishnackh, currently legally named Varg Qisling Larsson Vikernes). The band was initially known as Uruk-Hai, Varg Vikernes' first band which he formed in 1988-89. He changed the name to Burzum (meaning "darkness" in Black Speech, the language of Mordor in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings) in 1991 after the disbanding of Satanel, a band he founded with Abbath of Immortal.

Tommy Tokyo & Starving For My Gravy

Norwegian singer-songwriter. His band Starving For My Gravy includes members from Ricochets, Peru You, Human Heat and Apotygma Berzerk. The debut album Octopusdrunk & Arms To Prove It was released in 2007. December that year he signed a deal with record company Warner, and Tokyos critically acclaimed second album Smear Your Smiles Back On was released in september 2008.
