Biography
Based in Aarhus, Denmark, the progrock band BOIL plays an ambitious style of progressive rock and metal that balances on the delicate edge of melodic catchiness, intricacy and complexity. With the 5 members drawing from widely different influences, the unique mixture contains elements of both polyrhythmic modern metal, electronica, grunge and classic rock.
The Raveonettes are a danish rock and roll duo consisting of Sune Rose Wagner (guitar, instruments, vocals) and Sharin Foo (guitar and vocals). Their music is characterized by close two-part vocal harmony inspired by The Everly Brothers, coupled with hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with liberal doses of noise. Their songs juxtapose the structural and chordal simplicity of 50s and 60s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats and often dark lyrical content, similar to another of the band's influences, The Velvet Underground.

Nabiha Bensouda is a born artist and performer having been blessed with Danish and North-West African roots (Gambia, Mali and Morocco) which play a huge role in the music she loves to make. Having been exposed to all genres of music Nabiha has developed her own unique style, which is strengthened by her sublime and distinctive vocals. She possesses an energy and attitude that bewitches the listener of her music in a brilliant and magical way.
Ashley Beedle's MAVIS project was originally sparked three years ago when he and musical
partner Darren Morris had an evening listening to Mavis Staples and the Staples Singers.
The pair were so blown away, this led them to create an instrumental which became the inspiration
for the MAVIS album. To Ashley, Mavis Staples and the Staples Singers have always been hugely iconic.
Phony Orphants are Jeppe Ornkilde (DJ Jeppe) and Mikael Dahlgaard (DJ Emok), a progressive psytrance-group from Denmark. They created Iboga studio in Copenaghen, releasing their firsts works on Transient, Plastik Park, Plusquam and so on. Collaborating with some of the most interesting Scandinavian artists, such as Beat Bizarre, Refer Decree and much more, they finally created Iboga Records, which they also manage.
Veto is a Danish indie rock band formed in 2004. They released their first EP, I Will Not Listen, in 2005 and their first full-length album, There's A Beat In All Machines, in 2006, both released on the Danish hip hop label, Tabu Records/Playground Music Denmark. In February 2007 Veto won the award for Best New Act, as well as Best Danish Music Video at Danish Music Awards. Their song "You Are A Knife" was featured briefly in the American television program NCIS episode "Suspicion".
