Palle Mikkelborg

Palle Mikkelborg (b. 1941) started playing trumpet in 1956 and became a professional musician in 1960. He consider himself an autodidact on trumpet. At first he was a member of the Danish Radio Jazz Group and the Danish Radio Big Band. As a leader of these bands in the 1970s, he developed his skill as a composer and arranger. Throughout the 1980's Mikkelborg toured Europe and Japan and made recordings with Gil Evans Big Band, George Russel Big Band, Terje Rypdal, Jan Garbarek, Gary Peacock, Dinu Saluzzi and others.

Duck Soup

Duck Soup is a danish ska band. They play 2 tone ska, and are clearly inspired by bands as the Specials, The Selecter and The (English) Beat. The band kicked off back in 1982, during the punk- and mod revival movement in Denmark. The band broke up in 1984, but decided to reestablish it again 9 years after. Since then they have played a loadful of concerts, released one full-length album (Planet Ska, 1998) and starred on a couple of compilations as well. The band is still playing live, and a new album is said to be on it's way.

Lucas Secon (known musically as Lucas) is a Danish-American Grammy and MTV-Award nominated musician best known for his 1994 song "Lucas With The Lid Off" from his album Lucacentric'. He has helped sell over 20 Million records,receiving many Gold and Platinum plaques from US,UK and ROW in the process. Having many top 5s,top 10s and a number 1 as well. Signed to Uptown Records by Andre Harrell, Lucas debuted in 1990 with the album To Rap My World Around You.

Freja Loeb

Freja Loeb (born 30 November 1987 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a and singer-songwriter. She was influenced by artists like The Cure, Blondie, David Bowie and Fleetwood Mac. Freja is best known for the single "Never Stop Coming Back". Loeb attended the Rudolf Steiner School in Gentofte, where she was scheduled to play cello and violin, although she would rather play guitar. Later she attended the MGK preparatory school in Copenhagen. In 2009, she collaborated with the band White Pony for the song "Down At Jimmies (feat. Freja Loeb)".

The Migrant

The Migrant is Denmark musician Bjarke Bendtsen's experimental, folk-inspired pop songs on guitar, ukulele, kick drum and other instruments. In Bendtsen's words, 'This project is my excuse for packing the suitcase, selling all furniture and leaving for parts of the world I haven't seen before. Hopefully the songs and a guitar will make it less expensive. Definitely more fun!' Bendtsen gave up his residence in Copenhagen in the end of 2008 and went on the road, playing with different people he met on his way.

Marilyn Mazur

Marilyn Mazur (born 1955) is a percussionist, drummer, composer, vocalist, pianist, dancer, and bandleader. She was born in New York and has lived in Denmark from age six. She is of Polish and African-American descent. From 1975 she has worked as percussionist with various groups, among others the group Six Winds with Alex Riel. Mazur is primarily autodidact, but she has taken a degree in percussion at the Royal Danish Conservatory.
