Manuel Antoni - Bass, Vocals Mono Inc. rose from the ashes of several band projects, the frustrations of being forced into unwelcome directions by major record labels and the fervent wish to make uncompromising music. Founder members were Martin Engler, mastermind and songwriter, Carl Fornia and Miky Mono. In 2003 Manuel Antoni joined the band on bass guitar and also as a sound designer.
The Presets
The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an electronic two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest indie bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.
Raggedy Angry
When it comes to an unbridled penchant for brutally honest lyrics and bare bones beats, we can call vocalist and songwriter Irvin Scabtree “Master”, or at least that’s the title of one of their most downloaded tracks on itunes. Along with guitarist Pressit, the two released an epic 12 song debut record in 2006. Pressit’s chunky guitar riffs complemented Scabtree’s predilection for the electronic. Together at only the age of 17 they released Take Me, Break Me, Make Me Pretty; a monstrous electro record that gained the attention of the music industry.
Locust
There are at least 4 artists named Locust: 1) Locust is a project of Mark Van Hoen, a British artist who has been releasing electronic music since 1993. 2) The Locust is a grindcore/experimental band formed in 1994 in San Diego, California. Please correct your tags to The Locust. 3) Locust (로커스트) was a Korean popular music band, active in the early 80's. 4) Locust is an alias of Perry O'Neil, who runs the progressive trance label Electronic Elements.
She Wants Revenge
She Wants Revenge is a post-punk/darkwave duo hailing from Los Angeles, California who formed in 2005. The band is comprised of Justin Warfield (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Adam Bravin (bass, keyboards). Accompaniment members Thomas Froggatt (guitar) and Scott Ellis (drums) join them on stage. The band have released three albums: "She Wants Revenge" (2006), "This is Forever" (2007) and "Valleyheart" (2011)
Subsonica
Subsonica is an Italian electronic/rock band. The group was formed in 1996 in Turin, Italy. Their eponymous debut album debuted at the end of 1996. The band gained real success in 2000 by playing the Sanremo Music Festival. The first two singles off of the album Microchip Emozionale, Tutti I Miei Sbagli and Discoteca Labirinto were hits. Their latest album, Eden was released in 2011. Subsonica are: Boosta (Davide Di Leo) keyboards, Bass Vicio (Luca Vicini) bass, Samuel (Umberto Romano) vocals, C-Max (Massimiliano Casacci) guitar, Ninja (Enrico Matta) drums.
Keen
The band was born in Sulmona (Italy) in February, 2003. The KeeN sound is a mix of melodies, aggressiveness, involving rhythms and electronic samplings. On August 23rd 2003 KeeN released their first self-produced EP "Love With Bile" preceeded by the introduction single (self-produced) "Nailing Keen" that the band released in April 2003 and delivered to Marilyn Manson on April 8th 2003. In Summer 2003 Keen was selected by Rock Tv between more than 4,000 bands to take part in I.
Lye
LYe was an industrial/alternative rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed in the late 1990's, although from the original line-up to the current line-up, only Brett Carruthers (vocals) is the remaining founding member. The band was known as Aphasia until the 2005 release of "Companion", which is when they changed their name to LYe. In 2007, Brett (vocals) and Steph (bass) came up with a new band called A Primitive Evolution, a band with a different direction musically, was formed.
