Vulture Industries

Vulture Industries explore a gloomy musical landscape. With their doomy, progressive and different approach to metal they’ve stood out in the Bergen, Norway music scene since the band formed in 2002. Their sound is a unique mix of extreme, melodic, symphonic, industrial and slightly experimental metal. Although Vulture Industries is quite a young band, they hold signifcant musical experience, and consists of current and former members of Sulphur, Black Hole Generator, Malice In Wonderland, Enslaved (session), Taake (session) and Syrach.

Aliens

Aliens NOT PICTURED! (pictured is British band The Aliens) are a band from Austin, TX. Aliens' first "real" studio recordings were done in 2002, at the home of Virginia Tate. They were recorded on the original "Noise New York" board used extensively by Kramer, The legendary and elusive producer and founder of Shimmy Disc Records. Later Karmer would master ALIENS debut album, Head First which was released on the MISC. MUSIC label.

Five Star Prison Cell

Dubiously labeled a "Tech metal", or "Math Rock" band, Five Star Prison Cell offer a different and non-conformist approach to songwriting. Brutally heavy, Dark and forboding with the ability to switch time, pace, genre and style at the drop of a hat; Adam, Cam, Mark and Marc take great pleasure in constantly challenging themselves while at the same time serving up a dish of fresh new and always evolving ideas to their unsuspecting but ever growing fan base.

In Vain

There are a few artists with this name. 1) In Vain is a progressive death metal band from Kristiansand, Norway. Formed by three young music enthusiasts back in 2003, the band has already released two highly critically acclaimed self financed EP’s; Will the Sun Ever Rise and Wounds. Will the Sun Ever Rise(2004), a three-track EP of unrelenting atmosphere, aggression and complexity. The EP was embraced by metal heads and journalists alike.

Thorns

There's more than one artist under this name:
1. Thorns (formed as Stigma Diabolicum, but changed name to Thorns after two years) is a Norwegian black metal band, masterminded by Blackthorn (Snorre W. Ruch - also in Mayhem and Satyricon). They made two highly influential demos in the early 90's, Grymyrk and Trøndertun, but have only released one full-length album, since the band was founded, in 1989.

Gorguts

A highly technical and avant-garde band, Gorguts was formed in 1989 by Luc Lemay (guitar/vocals), Sylvain Marcoux (guitar), Eric Giguere (bass) and Stephane Provencher (drums) in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. They recorded a demo in 1990 entitled "And Then Comes Lividity", and then in 1991 released "Considered Dead" on Roadrunner, their first full length of death metal. The release was very promising, and even included a guest guitar solo by James Murphy and guest vocals by Chris Barnes.

At first, there was nothing but these memories of a cold and grey urbanism. It is meanwhile walking down the streets of Kemper, France, that netra was first thought of, back in 2003. Creating music of many extremes, and with compositions often exceeding ten minutes in length...

Manes

Manes started around the end of 1992/early 93. It started as a project with Sargatanas on vocals and Cern on guitars, synths, programming etc. – basically everything besides the vocals. With that line-up Manes recorded the three demos „Maanens natt” (93), „Ned i stillheten” (94) and „Til kongens grav de døde vandrer” (95). The two first demos was later re-released by the Hammerheart Records sub-label „Unveiling the Wicked” in 98.
