Robotosaurus

February 8 2007: The trashy nightclub had sold out hours before hand. The supports have been and gone. The lights were dim and there was a hum amongst the crowd. Friends had been talking about the first show for well over a year. The anticipation was swelling as people were jostling for position. When the first stomach-churning chord rung out there was no denying things would be different from that point on.

Oh, Sleeper

Oh, Sleeper is a band from Fort Worth, Texas signed to Solid State Records. Oh, Sleeper formed in April of 2006 after former members of short-lived rock band Terminal got together with former Between the Buried and Me guitarist Shane Blay. Eventually they found a vocalist in Micah Kinard and began practicing. As the 4 members began sledging through all the normal problems of a band start-up (no place to practice, no money and different schedules) the biggest obstacle was finding the last and final member.

Let's Talk Daggers

Let’s Talk Daggers are a three piece experiemental band from Eastbourne, UK featuring Will Gunson, Jim Windless and Steven Berwick. Despite originating from a coastal town that’s more often associated as a retirement destination rather than a musical hub, the band play a style of music that couldn’t be any more of an antithesis to their sleepy backdrop. Loud, fast and frantic, their sound is an unnerving blend of genres and styles that would come across as disjointed and cocophonous if attempted by most bands, incorporating elements of art-punk, hardcore, jazz and metal.

Kill the Client

The idea to create a southern grind band that would up the ante in American grindcore came about in July 2002, exactly one day after the demise of founding members Chris Andrews and James Delgado's sludge band EOTS. Violent, blistering grind seemed like the only interesting option after wandering the destructive quagmire of slow-as-mud riffs and pummeling sound levels for a few years, learning their instruments and gaining stage experience.
