Vital Remains

Vital Remains is a band from Rhode Island, USA formed in 1989. Influenced by the likes of Venom, Celtic Frost, Bathory, Mercyful Fate, Sodom and Destruction. Originally comprised of guitarists Paul Flynn and Tony Lazaro, vocalist Jeff Gruslin, bassist Tom Supkow, and drummer Chris Dupont, the group has been through several line-up changes and record labels over the years. A pair of demos (1989's "Reduced to Ashes" and 1990's "Excruciating Pain") led to a contract with French label Thrash Records, who in turn released "The Black Mass" in 1991.

Dogs Of War

There seems to be more than one Dogs of War band, this is the Bio from Australias Metal version: Formed in 2003, hailing from Perth’s northern suburbs, Dogs of War have carved an indelible niche in the Perth music scene. Fiercely independent from word go, their unique blend of polyrhythmic metal and confronting stage presence, continues to crush and confuse peers and admirers alike. Featuring odd time signatures, often belligerent tempo changes and an abrasive dissonance, Dogs of War are rhythmically based, progressively melodic, and brutally powerful.

Cryptopsy

Originating from the Montreal area, this group first appeared in 1992, when it was called Necrosis; in the same year it was reincarnated under the name of Cryptopsy. With just a demo called Ungentle Exhumation and then the album Blasphemy Made Flesh (1994), the group acquired a solid reputation on the international scene. Their release of None So Vile in 1996 was the first burst of brilliance in their career.
