Drone

There are at least five groups with the name of Drone. 1) German thrash metal band
2) Welsh IDM producer
3) electronica producer from Frankfurt
4) US altrock band
5) A psytrance act 1) Founded 2004 in Celle (Germany), the metal band "Drone" released a 6-track-EP entitled "Octane" in January 2006. Greatest efforts so far include:
- Winning the international final of "metal battle" contest, which was held in August 2006 at the Wacken Open Air (see www.metal-battle.com)
- Reaching the West-German final of Emergenza contest 2006

June Paik

June Paik are an emotive hardcore band from Donauwörth in Germany. They've released a selftitled 7" (React With Protest), a selftitled 12" (React With Protest/Parade of Spectres), the latter of which drew their already dark and intense style more towards epic build ups and heavy droning passages much in the vein of mid-90's Canadian hardcore bands such as Union of Uranus and One-Eyed God Prophecy, a Split 12" with Titan (React with Protest), a selftitled 10" (React with Protest) and a Split 7" with Battle Of Wolf 359 (React with Protest/Adagio830).

Keaver & Brause

Keaver is a veteran of the Ceder studio system, known as a sound effects man but in fact, something of an innovator in electronic music. Brause, a dozen years younger and looking like a baby, has moved from Worksop to Berlin to London to Nottingham, working as a folk singer, and session musician, and is becoming more and more interested in beat sculpting. Their debut album "The Middle Way" twists a broad spectrum of elements to create hip hop founded electronics that relish the use of hazy samples and spiraling rhythms.

Slowdive

Slowdive is a / band that formed in 1989 in Reading, England, United Kingdom. Signed to Creation Records in 1990 and initially championed by the British music press, the band scored a UK top forty entry with their debut album Just for a Day. The band consists of Rachel Goswell (vocals/guitar), Neil Halstead (vocals/guitar), Nick Chaplin (bass), Christian Savill (guitar), and Simon Scott (drums, 1990-1994, 2014-present); additionally, Ian McCutcheon replaced Scott from 1994-1995. Goswell and Halstead had known each other since early childhood in Reading, Berkshire.

All Saints

All Saints are a English/Canadian pop music girl group that enjoyed considerable critical and commercial success. The group comprises founding members Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis, and sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton. Their debut album, All Saints, was released in 1997 with the first single "I Know Where It's At" reaching #4 on the UK charts. The next single, "Never Ever", launched All Saints as stars, selling over two million copies in the United Kingdom also. They later went on to release their second full length studio album, Saints & Sinners in 2000.

Thorns

There's more than one artist under this name:
1. Thorns (formed as Stigma Diabolicum, but changed name to Thorns after two years) is a Norwegian black metal band, masterminded by Blackthorn (Snorre W. Ruch - also in Mayhem and Satyricon). They made two highly influential demos in the early 90's, Grymyrk and Trøndertun, but have only released one full-length album, since the band was founded, in 1989.

Blindead

Blindead was founded in Gdynia, Poland in 1999 by Michal Zimorski (Zima) - bass and Mateusz Smierzchalski (Havoc) - guitar. Few months later, Marek Zielinski (Deadman) - guitar, Konrad Ciesielski - drums and Patryk Adamczyk - vocals, joined the band. It was a casual project made for pleasure rather than a professional band. Besides, in the same time, Havoc became the guitarist of Behemoth and it was his priority.

Shylock

1) Progressive rock band, 1970s, France With endless comparisons to King Crimson, Shylock remains one of the premier French symphonic bands. Other comparisons are made to Arachnoïd and Pulsar. Darkness is the key here. Their influence can be felt in such bands as Xaal, Minimum Vital, Tiemko, and Änglagård. 1977's "Gialorgues" was recorded with the primary membership consisting of drummer André Fisichella, guitarist Frédéric l'Épée (who went on to play with Philharmonie), and keyboardist Didier Lustig.
