Conceived as a banishing ritual, the nine songs of Closed Circuits’ first album arrange themselves into three parts, representing Isis, Apophis and Osiris – roughly growth, destruction and rebirth. Upon this structure the songs coalesce into a coherent whole, designed for maximum affect when listened to from start to finish. Closed Circuits is a young man from an old island. He knows that Chaos never died, and that we can be free.
Avey Tare (born David Portner on April 24th, 1979) is a musician and founding member of Animal Collective. Avey Tare met Animal Collective's Deakin (Josh Dibb), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), and Geologist (Brian Weitz) in high school. For years, the four of them swapped homemade recordings, shared musical ideas and performed in different group configurations. Avey Tare recorded the Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished album with Panda Bear, and initially released the recording on the band's own Animal label in 2000.
EXPO '70 was formed in Los Angeles by Justin Wright as a side-project, while he was playing guitar in Living Science Foundation (Second Nature Recordings; GSL50 Compilation). Initially, the group also included Wright's friend, PK . The pair improvised creating sounds bouncing effect-ridden instruments creating a wide range of textures and moods. EXPO '70's first recording and inception was during PK's project SXBRS recording session, resulting in one of many split releases on PKs' label.
Kimmo Pohjonen (b. 1964) is one of the most respected and in-demand musicians and performers in Finland. An accordionist of exceptional ability and imagination, Kimmo's musical history goes back more than twenty years in rock, folk, avant-garde, improvisation, classical, dance and theatre music projects. In 1996 he embarked on a solo career with his solo 5-row accordion project, featuring extreme and original compositions, live loops and effects, a dynamic and animated stage performance, orchestrated lights and surround sound.

He was born in Yolo County, California, and started making up songs on the piano when he was three years old. Will spend most of his formative years in the suburbs of northern New Jersey. On his twelfth birthday, he got his first electric guitar, and in the decade since, music has owned him unconditionally.
There is more than one artist using the name HipGnosis: 1. HipGnosis is a US electronic music producer, Eric Young. With several releases under his belt, he creates psychedelic music similar in style to artists such as Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Burial, Harmonic 313, Machine Drum, and others. Owing to both a sample-based and synthesis-based creation method, HipGnosis achieves a balance between organic sounds and processed digitalia, remaining ever smooth in the process.
Robin Charles Thicke (born March 10, 1977 in Los Angeles, California) is a Grammy award winning American R&B singer-songwriter, producer and actor signed to Pharrell's Star Trak label. The son of actor Alan Thicke released his debut album A Beautiful World in 2003. He has gone on to release 2006's The Evolution of Robin Thicke, 2008's Something Else, 2009's Sex Therapy, and 2011's Love After War. He is married to actress Paula Patton, and they have a son Julian Fuego, born in April of 2010.
