Damo Suzuki's Network

Damo Suzuki's Network is an experimental/improvisational music outfit that revolves around Damo Suzuki. This Japanese-born singer is best known for his 1970-73 stint with Krautrock legends Can. Following his departure from the band, he embarked on a decade-long hiatus from music. By 1983, however, Damo Suzuki returned to the realm of music. In the 1990s, he formed and began fronting Damo Suzuki's Network.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Arizona was an indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, NY. The band is currently on indefinite hiatus. The members are now working on other projects, including Wages (www.wageswages.com) and New Beard (www.newbeardcity.com). Arizona first formed as a three piece in 2005 when founding members Ben Wigler, Nick Campbell, and Alex Hornbake recorded debut EP "The Sun and The Room" which had artwork contributed by Brooklyn artist Deems (www.inaspoon.com).

1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong and influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.

Stardeath and White Dwarfs was born in late 2004 in Oklahoma City, and released its debut EP in the spring of 2005. Members Dennis Coyne, Casey Joseph, Matt Duckworth, and Philip Rice create their own brand of genre bending sound that might occur if King Crimson and Coldplay got stoned and had sex with each other. They are currently in the studio working on their first full length record with Trent Bell of Chainsaw Kittens fame. 1.) Dutch Death Metal band XENOMORPH was founded in 1992 emerging from the underground scene in The Netherlands. Their most steady line-up became: DeTombe (vocals), Coert Zwart (guitar), Kreft (guitar), JRA (bass) and Marc Bomber (drums). They most likely got their name from the "scientific" predicate given to the aliens starring in the Aliens movie series. Their lyrics are mostly about evil, Satan, and other dark and occult stuff more than once inspired by the work of artists like H.R. Giger and Sir Ridley Scott.
