Ill health and psychological issues put it on ice for half a year, but then freshly focused, jumping in the fire blind, The Anxiety Of Love recorded four songs in the August of 2012, which by the end of the year will be released as their first recording, a cassette EP, called simply 'One.'
Kristin Hersh (born August 7, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States) is a prolific American singer-songwriter and a post-punk pioneer who was one of the two lead singers/guitarists in the alternative rock group Throwing Muses (the other was her stepsister Tanya Donelly). She also led the hardcore punk influenced power trio 50 Foot Wave, and has performed and recorded as a solo artist. Hersh's music is known for its creative chord chemistry, hypnotic sonic treatments, and a vocal style ranging from softly melodic singing to impassioned screaming.

Slowdive is a dream pop/shoegaze band that formed in 1989 in Reading, England, United Kingdom. Signed to Creation Records in 1990 and initially championed by the British music press, the band scored a UK top forty entry with their debut album Just for a Day. The band consists of Rachel Goswell (vocals/guitar), Neil Halstead (vocals/guitar), Nick Chaplin (bass), Christian Savill (guitar), and Simon Scott (drums, 1990-1994, 2014-present); additionally, Ian McCutcheon replaced Scott from 1994-1995.
