Jana Hunter

Jana Hunter is a songwriter and musician, and was born in Texas. She is now(2010) based in Baltimore. She has recently(2009) formed a new band named Lower Dens and toured the USA with Future Islands(2010). She is signed to Gnomonsong, a record label run by Devendra Banhart and Vetiver's Andy Cabic. Her solo debut album Blank Unstaring Heirs of Doom was the label's debut release. She later completed her second album "There's No Home" as well as "Carrion EP".

The Blow is Khaela Maricich, from Portland, Oregon. The band was a duo until Jona Bechtolt left to pursue his own project, Yacht, full time. The two had been working together as The Blow since 2004, when they recorded a limited edition EP called Poor Aim: Love Songs.

Wolf & Cub

Wolf & Cub are an alternative rock band from Adelaide, Australia that formed in 2002. Three of the original members hail from Port Augusta, South Australia. Their music is predominantly psychedelic with elements of funk. The four-piece are signed to legendary record label 4AD. An interesting aspect of the band's music and aesthetic is their use of two drummers. This allows the percussive elements of their music to feature more prominently alongside the guitar.

Black Wire

Black Wire were an English indie rock band from Leeds, UK. The band members were Daniel Wilson (Vocals), Si McCabe (Guitars, backing vocals), Tom Greatorex (Bass) and Danny Prescott (Drums). Black Wire formed in January 2003 and played their first gig within a month of forming, at the Leeds club night Pigs. They then went on to tour excessively playing with such bands as Bloc Party, The Libertines, HARD-Fi, The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs and The Futureheads.

Louisiana Joyride

Louisiana Joyride is alt punk-country. It is lyrically profound and rythmically foot stomping. The lyrics reak of the real world with clever hooks and engaging guitar pickings. This band know their roots and its obvious when you hear them that they are inspired by the country greats and influenced deeply by their personal experiences and surroundings of their Irish homeland.
Having successfully released their first EP in 2009, recorded as a two-piece, the band are now following up with their first album, recorded in their current 4-piece format.

Trainwreck

There are at least three bands called Trainwreck. One from Germany, one from the US and one from Australia: TRAINWRECK from Germany (Aachen, Bremen, Göttingen) is a DIY punk/hardcore/screamo band and consists of actual and former members of Eaves, Glasses, the 244GL and Engrave. They started rehearsing in October 2005. Since then they have released a couple of records, their latest LP in July 2009 and a new EP in June 2011. They've played five European, one UK, one Japan and two US tours in the last couple of years.
