UPDATE: Die Laughing reformed in 2012 to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. On the 8th May it was announced that Die Laughing would be touring with The March Violets on a selection of key UK dates in June 2012, before beginning work on a new album. More information:

History Die Laughing are mainly remembered for their input to the 90s Goth scene but their roots go much further back into the 1980s.

There at least 3 bands with the name Doppleganger 1) DoppelgangeR is is one of the most famous and oldest gothic bands in Russia. The band revives the traditions of Old School of Gothic Rock and Post Punk, set by such bands as Joy Division and Siouxsie and The Banshees. Expressive vocal, atmospheric guitar, bass which cuts through like a sharp glass, and wild drums drive the audience from rage to tears and back.

There are several artists performing as The House of Usher: 1) The House of Usher is a gothic rock band from Germany.
2) The House of Usher was a German techno act.
3) House of Usher was a Swedish death metal band.
4) House of Usher is a symphonic progressive rock band from Detroit. 1) The House of Usher is often referred to as the “last" Goth rock band from Germany, the same country that unleashed doomsayers Xmal Deutschland in the ‘80s.

1)Tottenham based grime outfit now called Bloodline 2)Greg Szathmary aka Meridian from Hungary started composing music back in 1996. He went through all the steps in the progression electronic musicians usually do. Trackers, Reason, Cubase, soft synths, hardware stuffs spiced with some musical education. He learned playing piano and dealt with music theory as well.
His first real success was to get into the best 15 tracks in the Oceanlab Satellite remix contest. Since then he developed his producing skills to reappear on stage again with Emphase.
