Jay Malinowski

Jay Malinowski is the vocalist and guitarist for the Canadian reggae group Bedouin Soundclash. He met the group's future bassist Eon Sinclair while attending Queen's University, and they decided to form their own band which reflected the music they both grew up on. Jay was born in Montreal, QC in 1982, but he grew up in Vancouver, B.C. Jay has strong family ties to Toronto as both of his parents are from the Toronto area.

The Maybeez

The Maybeez are a band originating from Derby, UK, where they remain. They comprise a singing bass player, a guitarist, and a drummer. The Maybeez' music is characterised by powerful, but clear vocal delivery, distorted guitar, slightly syncopated basslines, and highly dynamic drumming. The lyrical content of their songs ranges widely, evoking surreal imagery in some songs, and real experiences and commentary in other songs. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is a rock band formed in 1976 from Gainesville, Florida, USA and led by Tom Petty. Petty has been supported by his band, The Heartbreakers, for the majority of his career. He has occasionally released solo work, as was the case with his 2006 album Highway Companion on which he performed most of the backing instrumentation himself. However, members of The Heartbreakers have played on each of his solo albums and the band has always backed him when touring in support of those albums.

Hedley

Hedley is a Canadian pop rock band comprising lead singer Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on lead guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. The current band retains the original name of Hoggard's pre-Canadian Idol group, although the membership has changed. The band originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They were named after the town of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $246,000.
