Verse Metrics

Verse Metrics, are first and foremost a group of four friends from Glasgow, Scotland. The band have spent the past year developing their music, and in July 2010 commenced recording with Robin Sutherland in Dundee, who has previously engineered releases for Stapleton, Copy Haho, Jacob's Stories, Laeto, Avast!, Tellison, Juliet Kilo and many others. These recordings will produce their debut EP, scheduled to coincide with their maiden tour in December 2010.

Black Poets

With more than a passing visual resemblance to San Francisco rock outfit BRMC, Black Poets brings with them the appeal of boys in leather jackets, English accents, playing soaring post-punk rock with guitars. Cutting their teeth on the UK live circuit over 2007-2008 has left Black Poets with an enviable reputation for their live act and repertoire. Black Poets are a modest bunch of likely lads from London, England. In this purely for the music, they are completely in love with their sound and are often mistaken for being a New York band.

Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!

Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! are a indie rock group from Adelaide, South Australia. They feature David Williams (vocals/guitar), Sam Stearne (drums), Caitlin Duff (vocals), Nathaniel Morse (guitar), Art Zinoviev (synth) and Josh Flavel (bass). Formed in 2006 into the vapid whirlpool era of fluro dance-punk, the quintet has since been impossible to pin down to any one sound or genre, opting for distinct stylistic strides between releases.

Julian Plenti

Interpol's lead singer and guitarist Paul Banks released a solo album under the name Julian Plenti, and has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago. He's done a lot of work with Niall Darcy, with whom there has been a long time mutual admiration.

Bird People
