The Presets

The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.

Neon Knights

There are two known bands recognized under this name: 1. Neon Knights are a two piece band, both of whom are brothers and are originally from New Zealand, but now live permanently in Melbourne, Australia. Chris, the founder of the band, composed all of the original demos in his appartment, before taking them to the stage. After composing the sound tracks, he combines his synthesiser and microphone to bring a unique garage electro sound to the venues of Melbourne. During live performances, his brother, Nik drums to give it that extra bit of backing.

Pyyramids

PYYRAMIDS is a collaboration by Tim Nordwind (OK Go) and Drea Smith (He Say, She Say). Connected by a mutual friend in Chicago, the pair struck up an email correspondence that soon transformed into a small torrent of music. Bonding first over dark British pop from the early '80s like The Smiths and Joy Division, and stranger more modern fare like Micachu, Nordwind and Smith were natural collaborators.

The Norwegian band Casiokids is not just an electronic act, but also include a shadow puppet group. Broken Spindles

Broken Spindles is the brainchild of Joel Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska. He is in other Saddle Creek bands, playing bass guitar in The Faint and Beep Beep. The music is mostly instrumental with minimal vocals which Petersen sings. It originally started in 2001 as the soundtrack for a friend's film. It developed into a solo project with the first release in 2002 on Tiger Style Records. In between touring with The Faint and Beep Beep, Petersen found time to write music for Broken Spindles. The song, "Song No Song," from fulfilled/complete was used in a car commercial for Lexus
