Chicks On Speed

Chicks on Speed are a female electroclash band, born when Alex and Melissa met at the Munich Art Academy in 1997. Chicks on Speed's core members are Melissa Logan (Upstate NY, USA) and Alex Murray-Leslie (Bowral, Australia), who collaborate with amongst others Anat Ben-David (Tel Aviv, Israel), Kathi Glas (Berlin, Germany) and A.L. Steiner (NY, USA). Around Chicks on Speed there is grouped a large and ever-changing collective of musicians, producers, fashion and graphic artists, designers, film and video makers, and so on.

Kap Bambino

Born in October 2001 in Bordeaux, France along with their own label WWILKO, KAP BAMBINO (Orion Bouvier and Caroline Martial) play an effective and energetic contemporary electronic music. Based on incisive rhythms, intoxicating riffs and dyslexic lyrics, this music defies classification. Out of control, it is sometimes pop and melancholic, sometimes skinned-raw, but always aggressive. They try to exist in the fringe of the French musical movement, like some no-future bastards, totally devoted to non-stop amazing performance.

Kid Karate

Kid Karate are a two-piece grime-punk band from Dublin comprising of Kevin Breen (guitar/synth/vocals) and Steven Gannon (drums/percussion). Their music has been described as gritty, raw and brutal; dwelling somewhere within the wastelands between the fuzzy blues of The Black Keys, the danceability of The Rapture and the aggression of Queens of the Stone Age. The band’s musical asthetic is built around Breen’s atypical howl, a voice discovered out of necessity in a shed in a Dublin suburb, where microphones don’t exist.

Rabia Sorda is Erk Aicrag's solo project. The lyricist and singer of the Mexican hard elektro duo Hocico, started working on this project in 2003, listening to the internal voices that compelled him to create his own sonic world. From The Cradle To The Rave, is a Punk/Ska/DNB/Breaks/Hip Hop solo project from the Scottish capital Edinburgh. POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits.
