The Poor Souls of Pompeii

Hailing from London, UK, The Poor Souls of Pompeii are an indie powerpop disco four-piece. They met in 2007 on the website formingbands.co.uk. The original lineup consisted of Andy Pisanu (vocals/keyboards), Mark Dolan (bass), Mani Kashmiri (guitar) and David Smith (drums). Their original drummer, David Smith, left in 2008 due to other committments. The band found their second drummer, Simon Cross, also on formingbands.co.uk. He joined in September 2008 and they began gigging again shortly after.

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong were an alternative rock band from London, England which formed in 2006. They consist of Joe Lean (vocals), Panda (bass), Tom Dougall (guitar), Dom O'Dare (guitar) and Bummer Jong (drums). Joe Lean formerly drummed for The Pipettes backing group The Cassette and Tom Dougall is the brother of former Pipettes vocalist/keyboardist Rose Elinor Dougall. They list influences including Big Star, Smokey Robinson and Dion And The Belmonts...

Francophilippe is an award winning remix artist and electro producer from Newcastle, UK. His bootleg remixes of The xx, Yeah Yeah Yeahs & Miike Snow have received viral popularity through youtube and bloggers whilst his first commissioned remix for UK band 'Jimmy & The Sounds' was chosen for commercial release with an industry standard music video set to be broadcast this fall (2010). Francophilippe's original works had ranged from hard electro-house to downtempo and dubstep before developing his own uniquely crafted sound featuring mellow underwater vibes...

Imagine that Surkin had a brother who used to steal all his brothers machines when he wasn't at home...that little guy is Bobmo! BOBMO is a young producer hailing from the hyperactive city of Paris via the even more hyper city of Bordeaux. While in high school, with no musical training, he launched a short-lived rap career, making beats on his Playstation (no, really!), spitting awkward tales of murder and woe.

The Ghost Frequency

The Ghost Frequency formed in a bedroom in Spring 2005 and begun writing songs and recording demos on a 4 track recorder. Drummer Ben Chetwood joined the band in November of that year and the band began rehearsing for live shows in 2006.
After a year of writing and gigging, the band were signed up by City Rockers and begun work on their debut single 'Nightmare' which was released as a limited edition 7" red vinyl in August 2007, with the accompanying video becoming a favourite on the MTV2 channel as well as on YouTube.
