The Presets
The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an electronic two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets. The Presets have been one of the biggest indie bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron.

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong were an alternative rock band from London, England which formed in 2006. They consist of Joe Lean (vocals), Panda (bass), Tom Dougall (guitar), Dom O'Dare (guitar) and Bummer Jong (drums). Joe Lean formerly drummed for The Pipettes backing group The Cassette and Tom Dougall is the brother of former Pipettes vocalist/keyboardist Rose Elinor Dougall. BOBMO is a young producer hailing from the hyperactive city of Paris via the even more hyper city of Bordeaux. While in high school, with no musical training, he launched a short-lived rap career, making beats on his Playstation (no, really!), spitting awkward tales of murder and woe.

Dexys Midnight Runners
Dexys Midnight Runners - the name consistently spelled without an apostrophe - were a British post-punk and northern soul band who achieved their major success in the early to mid 1980s. The word "Dexys" in this case, comes from a colloquialism of "dextroamphetamine" or "purple hearts," a type of amphetamine diet pill that was a popular "upper" drug with England's Northern Soul scene in the 1960s.

Hailing from London, UK, The Poor Souls of Pompeii are an indie powerpop disco four-piece. They met in 2007 on the website formingbands.co.uk. The original lineup consisted of Andy Pisanu (vocals/keyboards), Mark Dolan (bass), Mani Kashmiri (guitar) and David Smith (drums). Their original drummer, David Smith, left in 2008 due to other committments. The band found their second drummer, Simon Cross, also on formingbands.co.uk. He joined in September 2008 and they began gigging again shortly after.
