Toy Toy

Provocative and unapologetic. Toy Toy are a synth rocking, punk-electro outfit based in London. Over fierce synth b-lines, the neatest live beats, wiry two note licks and dirt-drone guitar Toy Toy's crackpipe pop chronicle the tales of general absurdity in the world. Dubbed "thillingly filthy electro-poppers" by Time Out, London based Toy Toy are working with producer Robert Harder (Babyshambles, Whitey and Soho Dolls) and appear on the Girl Powder compilation (Lofty Records). You can now download the latest single, "The Me Song" released 3rd December 2009 as a FREE DOWNLOAD!

Dweeb

Not to be confused with Christian punk/rock band Underated punky pop act from Reading, England. Under all that hypey spikey exterior were well crafted songs that should have been heard more. An influence on Disco Pistol and many others of the Teen Punk explosion of 1996 championed by Steve Lamacq & The NME which rose fron the underground club "Friday night dynamite" run by the infamous Hi-Fi and Kevin Wilde in Covent Garden (FND closed down due to underage drinking, underage sex and general mayhem).

Artist Type:

Intro5pect

Intro5pect draws evenly on its influences of Old school punk/Oi! and its newer roots in breakbeat to create an intense, energetic musical base. Drawing from the band's early peacepunk influences are the sarcastic socio-political lyrics cast into choruses just meant to be sung along with.
