Clara Clara saw the light of day in a basement in the small town of Dijon, France, gathered around a saucepan drumkit, a “shitty” Höner guitar and a My First Sony Microphone. Yet it immediately became the very core of the local spazz rock scene (we’re talking at least 8 people here, all of them shell- shocked by a short stay in town of dutch experimental band The Ex). Basically made up of Charles and François Virot (the latter being famous enough under his own name) and Amélie Lambert (a school book of whom cued the band with its name)...

1. Cat Cat formed in mid 2008. Their combination of mixed members and style allows the band to stay on a steady road of up beat 60’s psych tunes to 80’s cruising tempo’s. They’re sound has been described as a ‘a band from the past who found a massive time machine and went back to the future. Sounds old, feels new, kind of music.’ Their impressive debut release ‘Dig Mountains‘ is a sharp motorik kraut rock and cruising psychedelic trip.

Sylvain Sylvain (born Sylvain Mizrahi, February 14, 1951 ) is a rock guitarist, most notable for being a member of the New York Dolls. He was born in, Cairo, Egypt to a Jewish family with one brother and one sister, Leon and Brigitte, but raised in New York City, where his family had moved after living on Lafayette Avenue in Buffalo, New York while he was still a child.
