Refused is a hardcore punk band originating from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1991. The band's final lineup comprised its founding members, vocalist Dennis Lyxzén and drummer David Sandström, as well as guitarists Kristofer Steen and Jon Brännström. Their lyrics were often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature. The band released five EPs and three albums before initially splitting up in 1998.
Deaf Center are collaborators Erik Skodvin (AKA Svarte Greiner, Xhale, Solitaire Albread) and Otto Totland (AKA Supine, Nest), operating out of Norway since 2003. DIABOLICAL are a Swedish Death Metal band that were formed late 1996 by S.Widgren who now is the only original member still active in the band. DIABOLICAL have been influenced by the well-known Thrash/Death-Metal pioneers like Dark Tranquillity, Death, Carcass and At the Gates. In January 2000 DIABOLICAL recorded their first CD-release, entitled "Deserts of Desolation". In April 2001 DIABOLICAL returned to studio and mixed the experience about latest Swedish Metal together to a great "Synergy".

Nina Persson (born Nina Elisabet Persson September 6, 1974 in Örebro, Sweden) is the lead singer and lyricist for the Swedish pop group The Cardigans. Originally, she was going to art school until she started with the The Cardigans. She has also worked as a solo artist, releasing two albums as A Camp and appearing on the tribute album to Serge Gainsbourg entitled Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited. She has also worked with rock group Sparklehorse. She appears on the Manic Street Preachers song "Your Love Alone Is Not Enough" on the album "Send Away the Tigers".
THE LATE CALL is Johannes Mayer, joined by other various artists live and on recordings. Having started by the end of 2006 under his own name with this kind of music he has now been recording his first full-length, due for release in 2009. His cover of Young and Hairy by Elias & The Wizzkids has previously been released in Sweden in October 2007.
Guitarist Ivar Grydeland and percussionist Ingar Zach, prime movers and catalysts for free improvised music in Norway, got in touch with Christian Wallumrød after hearing his “Sofienberg Variations” on ECM and they have since worked together in diverse combinations including, since 2004, ‘Dans les arbres’ a project completed by French clarinettist Xavier Charles. Their radical all-acoustic improvisation explores sonorities and textures that frequently sound electronic, and also often sounds ‘composed’ – with echoes of Cage and the New York School.
