Parisian trio Cheveu create sounds in the heat of drugged out vibes and post-punk charisma. The band also pulls the sentiments of experimental executions and juxtapositions, exploiting the limitations of lo-fi in a way that encapsulates chaos into a fragment of order.

The world has seemingly been besieged by bearded bands in the past year - but most of those kids treading on their fifth style of music wear it like a badge and far from an integral part of their work. When you hear Virgin Passages and their folkish strum intersecting with psychedelic experimentation and swirl of boy/girl harmonies and chanted refrains, you just know what they will look like. The men (and they will be men – no boys making music with this many layers) will have beards almost by default.

Svartvit is a Dutch harsh noise project from Boxtel that was started in 2008 by sound artist Kevin Jansen. Through the years the project has evolved both in presentation and sound. Starting of as a very monotonous study in textural noises it has turned into a direct channeling of anger, frustration and the questioning of modern day society through sound & performance. From their Myspace : The Terrordactyls are Michael Cadiz and Tyrel Stendahl. Michael was Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Tyrel is from Tukwila, Washington. Their birth places are the source of their magic, speed and unusually superior upper-body strength. They are both extremely lovable and popular individuals. Michael’s interests include: fabricating truths on job applications, multiple choice questions and running away. Tyrel enjoys guns, organizing his itunes music library and being good at life.
The Revellions were forged amidst a haze of frustration and red neon lights in the early days of 2006. Originally a surf instrumental band, they changed their line-up and hit the Dublin music scene with all the vigour of a garage band in heat. Since then they have played to the loving patrons of London's most prestigious garage club The Dirty Water Club, Eyes Wide Open @ Glasgow Barfly, Derry's Beatnik Soul and Louie Louie in Gijon (Spain). They have also played with some bigger name bands such as The Sultans Of Ping, the knights of the new crusade and Graham Day And The Gaolers.
