Mammoth

There are 3 bands that share the name Mammoth and one band formerly known as Mammoth: (UK) 1. After the split of Gillan in 1982, the bearded John McCoy (bass guitar; 19 stone) recruited session musicians 'Tubby' Vinnie Reed (drums; 22 stone), 'Big' Mac Baker (guitars; 24 stone) and Nicky Moore (vocals; 20 stone and 5'6") for his solo project.
Initially christened 'Dinosaur', they changed their names after complaints from a similarly titled California blues outfit.

James Carter

Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1969, James Carter began playing saxophone at age 11, first recorded with a Detroit student ensemble in 1986 and, by 1991, had recorded with legendary trumpeter Lester Bowie on The Organizer and contributed to the 1991 collection The Tough Young Tenors. Mastering a family of reed instruments, from sopranino to contrabass saxophones to contrabass and bass clarinets, James Carter mesmerized the jazz world after arriving in New York City in 1988 to play under the auspices of Lester Bowie.

Simon Webbe

Simon Solomon Webbe (born 30th March 1979, in Manchester, England) is a member of the English boy band Blue, and also released music as a solo artist with 'a sweet soulful sound reminiscent of The Lighthouse Family'. His first single, "Lay Your Hands", was released on 22nd August 2005, and reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart. His second, "No Worries" also reached #4 in November. Right after the release of his second single, the debut album, "Sanctuary", was released. Despite its #28 debut on the UK album charts, the album began to climb in its later weeks.

Jason Forrest

Jason Forrest is an electronic music producer known for noisy experimental electronica and breakcore. Largely produced and performed on a single computer (including live shows), his songs tend to be constructed from digital samples of found sounds and other artists' music. Until 2004 he recorded under the name Donna Summer then in 2007 he began to re-use the updated "DJ Donna Summer" for the production an performance of dance music.

The Standells

The Standells were a 1960s rock and roll band from Los Angeles, California who, like The Seeds, exemplified the style. The band was formed in 1962 by lead singer/organist Larry Tamblyn and guitarist Tony Valentino. The Standells' first hit single was Dirty Water, which reached #11 on the Billboard charts on June 11, 1966. Multiple urban myths exist about the origins of "Dirty Water", which has become a Boston radio staple.
