Conlon Nancarrow (b. October 27, 1912, Texarkana - d. August 10, 1997, Mexico City) was an American-born composer who lived most of his life in Mexico. Nancarrow is remembered almost exclusively for the pieces he wrote for the player piano. He was one of the first composers to use musical instruments as mechanical machines, utilising their capacity to play complex polyrhythms at tempos far beyond human performance ability.

light of the great fire is hidden within.' Deep Magic is the solo project of Alex Gray, who currently plays in tropical-psych jam team Sun Araw and has also contributed to works by Pocahaunted and Black Eagle Child.
The Morning After Girls is a psychedelic pop rock band, in the vein of The Dandy Warhols, The Vines and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, from Australia. The group originally formed in Melbourne around 2003, however in 2004 founding members Sacha Lucashenko (voice/guitars) and Martin B. Sleeman (guitars/voice) relocated to Sydney. The group has released two EPs, the first on Rubber Records in 2003 and the second on Fly Music in early 2005, both of which are self-titled. Mid to late 2005 they have toured with The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Bee Mask is the abstract and drone music project of the Cleveland, Ohio, United States native Chris Benedetto Madak. Its established in 2004. Composer Pauline Oliveros is a maverick in the field of electronic music. Oliveros' first instrument was the accordion; as a teenager in Texas she played in a 100-piece accordion group that appeared at the rodeo. In 1949 she entered the University of Houston, but in 1952 transferred to San Francisco State College. Oliveros studied music privately with Robert Erickson and began to associate with a loose confederation of like-minded composers; Terry Riley, Steve Reich, and Morton Subotnick among them.
Damo Suzuki's Network is an experimental/improvisational music outfit that revolves around Damo Suzuki. This Japanese-born singer is best known for his 1970-73 stint with Krautrock legends Can. Following his departure from the band, he embarked on a decade-long hiatus from music. By 1983, however, Damo Suzuki returned to the realm of music. In the 1990s, he formed and began fronting Damo Suzuki's Network.
Plankton Wat is the solo sound world of Dewey Mahood, founding guitarist of Eternal Tapestry. Playing modern guitar soli inspired by the tradition of Fahey and Basho, and contemporary players Richard Bishop and Makoto Kawabata. Beginning as a home recording project in 2001, Mahood has slowly built a collection of highly personal music that has filtered out into the underground via tape labels such as Stunned, Digitalis, and Sloow.

The band members Ryan Jennings, Walker Mimms and Peter Stringer-Hye wrote and recorded their debut album in the summer of 2010 only at the age of 18. The band's name is inspired by a lyric in "My Clown," a song by '60s British psych-band July . Their true psychedelic sound reminds of a genuine British Psych vinyl from the 60's.
