ROVO

Rovo is a psychedelic rock-jazz band founded in 1996 in Tokyo by former Boredoms guitarist Seiichi Yamamoto (山本精一), electric violinist Yuji Katsui (勝井祐二), and synthesizer/effects technician Tatsuki Masuko (益子樹), with Jin Harada (原田仁) on bass guitar, Hiroshi Nakanishi (中西宏司) on synths, and featuring two drummers/percussionists, the prolific Yasuhiro Yoshigaki (芳垣安洋) (of legendary improv noise group Ground-Zero) and Yoichi Okabe (岡部洋一).

There are multiple artists named Umberto. 1. Umberto is actually a one-man band, that man being Matt Hill, live collaborator / touring member of Expo '70. While Expo '70 has proven to be especially adept at channelling the heavy kosmiche bliss of prime '70s krautrock a la Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel, Umberto is equally savvy at conjuring the dark, suspenseful soundtrack-y sounds of Goblin and the like. Franco Battiato (born 1945 in Sicily, Italy) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, filmmaker and painter.
He is considered one of the most original personalities in music from the 1970s to now. Battiato's songs are dreamy, controversial collages of images and sensations, very experimental and convoluted, rich of esoteric, philosophical and East Asian religious themes. His collaborations (from 1994 onward) with the nihilistic-cynical philosopher Manlio Sgalambro have added further depth to his apparently nonsensical lyrics...

Daniel Vincent

Daniel Vincent is a multi-instrumentalist and producer, who is most commonly known as one half of post-progressive duo The Resonance Association. In 2001 Daniel formed ambient rock band Onion Jack with his brother Pete. When the band disbanded in 2005, Daniel continued to create music as Karma Pilot, and also under his own name in numerous acoustic performances. In 2006 Daniel met guitarist Dominic Hemy and together they formed The Resonance Association, a creative partnership that continues to this day.
